Sharing feedback about Brown's learning tools
Every fall and spring, instructors and students have the opportunity to share about experiences through a learning technologies check-in form which will appear on the Canvas dashboard towards the end of the semester. To share comments about specific tools, please use our learning technology feedback form anytime.
How can I recommend a new learning tool for Brown to purchase?
To recommend or inquire about learning tools not listed in our Learning Technology Catalog, please write to [email protected]. Approval decisions for new tools generally take at least two semesters.
We will evaluate each tool based on their:
- overlap with existing Brown tools for teaching & learning,
- ability to meet FERPA, privacy, security, and accessibility standards,
- alignment with broader campus needs and resource priorities.
All requests will eventually need to be submitted through Brown OIT's Technology Request form, but you are welcome to contact us first if the tool integrates with Canvas.
