Based on how Top Hat handles user roles, Brown has set up three separate methods for adding TAs based upon course needs.
- Graduate TAs should join Top Hat as a professor. Course instructors can add Grad TAs to existing courses once their accounts have been created.
- Undergraduate TAs who do not need access to grades can use Top Hat’s new TA role.
- If you are an instructor with Undergraduate TAs who need access to grades, please fill out the form found in Top Hat's Teaching Assistant's at Brown article. This article also provides the process they will need to follow to log in.
