Wooclap is an interactive polling presentation platform designed to collect and display real-time responses from participants. Wooclap enables instructors to increase participation and assess student understanding through tools such as questionnaires, multimedia prompts, whiteboards, and other collaborative features.
Brown University is currently supporting a pilot initiative to assess the effectiveness and capabilities of Wooclap as a real-time polling solution.
How can Wooclap enhance my teaching?
- Increase interaction to enhance student attention, involvement, and long-term retention.
- Identify knowledge gaps and provide immediate feedback during class.
- Use a wide range of question types (e.g., multiple choice, open questions, polls, word clouds, sorting) to assess understanding and gather feedback.
- Add timers, “like” features, and messaging to support flexible, real-time engagement.
- Support both in-person and online teaching environments.
- Offer participant-paced questionnaires for asynchronous activities.
- Easily collect responses from large classes with scalable polling features.
